On Sunday, 10 December 2023, over 4,500 visitors attended our DMEDD fair held at the Sheraton Ankara Hotel.

In addition to products provided by volunteers from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs working in our diplomatic missions across a wide geographical area stretching from Africa to Asia and from America to Europe, as well as our domestic missions, products from 40 foreign diplomatic missions were also displayed at their designated stands.

The cultural programme held on the stage set up in the fairground featured performances specific to the countries of Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, China, the Philippines, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Thailand, as well as wonderful dances by the State Modern Dance Ensemble and the Ankara Seymenler Club from our country, which attracted great interest.

The DMEDD fair, which has now become a tradition, has a special significance as an international event that brings together different cultures with the aim of supporting education and mutual aid.

Since its establishment, DMEDD has helped more than 3,000 students realise their dreams and uses all donations from the fair for education scholarships and social aid projects.
