Scholarships

One of the core missions of our Association is to support the education of children, ensuring they can build a secure and promising future.

DMEDD primarily offers non-repayable scholarships to the children of Ministry of Foreign Affairs personnel. Whenever resources allow, we also extend this support to children who have been affected by natural disasters or extraordinary circumstances such as accidents or fires.

Scholarship Categories

• Children of martyrs from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other public officials who lost their lives while serving at Turkish missions abroad.
• Children of Ministry personnel who passed away while on duty.
• Academically successful children of central staff and service employees of the Ministry.
• Children affected by extraordinary circumstances or natural disasters.

Every year in August, DMEDD announces its scholarship program for the children of Ministry personnel. All applications are reviewed carefully and evaluated according to both the relevant category and the student’s individual situation, ensuring fair and thoughtful support.
