Ahead of Museum Week, we visited the PTT Museum and had the opportunity to explore the rare collections from the first Ottoman stamps to the Republican-era, world stamps from over 180 countries and special exhibits shedding light on the history of communication.

Accompanied by the informative narration of the Museum Director Mr Necati Nurcalı, we learnt about a wide range of artefacts, from historic telegraph machines to postal equipment.

Ankara-themed postcards and envelops with stamps were presented to our participants as keepsakes.
